Our Infant Program
Our infant program is called “nido” which means “nest” in Italian. It is designed for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months of age explore their environment physically, socially, intellectually, and emotionally.
Our infant program is committed to promoting a continual balance between supporting the development of these two basic psychological trusts and the bonding relationship between the teacher and the child, while at the other is support for a growing sense of self and independence.
Our infants grow in a nurturing environment under the guidance of Montessori teachers.
The aim of Montessori infant programs is to foster the development of basic trust and to assist in the normal development of the personality.
Basic trust develops in an environment where people respond appropriately to the infant’s communication of needs to be loved, respected, and accepted.
Infants learn through their senses. They learn by watching and moving freely. Freedom to move is essential to the development of the infant’s potential.
The infant is considered as a whole person and is affected by the quality of holding and feeding, as well as the quality of physical care.
Learning, which leads to independence, occurs when infants participate in their daily routines of care.

Nurturing Teachers
In our nido programs, our teachers build trust with our babies by learning how to form relationships and communicate. From the first day, the teacher creates warm and caring connections with each child to begin a nurturing and trusting attachment.
Safe and clean environment
The classroom provides natural light with open spaces for babies to move freely around the room. The class supports the infants gross motor skills with soft textured flooring in different areas around the room and surfaces for children to learn to walk with guidance.
Our teachers maintain clean environments by cleaning throughout the day. Each teacher is skilled and trained by leading Montessori experts to observe our infants as they grow in each stage of development.
Growing healthy and independent babies
We partner with our parents to grow healthy and independent babies. Our program promotes gross motor development from tummy time to rolling to crawling then walking. Our lessons teach them to feed themselves and choose activities on their own. We offer a variety of purposeful lessons for each stage of infancy to enjoy.
